Created in 1925 for Maison Isidore Leroy, Cyprins is a seven-colour gouache that perfectly embodies the style of E. A. Séguy.
In this dreamlike design, fish and algae intertwine in fluid lines, evoking the softness and tranquillity of a suspended aquatic world.
This restoration was made possible thanks to the meticulous work of Martine Dubreucq and Isabelle Parmentier, in partnership with the Forney Library.
