Soon it will be time to put away the touring skis, and the cows with their bells will not be long in returning to the mountain pastures.
This oil on canvas, painted by Florence Rérolle, captures that fleeting moment between two seasons, when winter gracefully fades away to make room for the gentleness of spring. Accustomed to exploring the landscapes of Saint-Gervais and Megève, the artist draws inspiration from the exceptional panoramas offered by the gateway to Mont Blanc.
