Arnaud Faugas, a free-spirited and playful illustrator from Bordeaux, has been following the Anglo-Saxon tradition of illustration for many years, drawing his inspiration both from his home town, Bordeaux, and from his visits to the United States.
For this first collaboration with Isidore Leroy, initiated by interior designer Frédérique Fournier, Faugas delves into the familiar streets of Bordeaux, where he draws the essence of his creation. With lively brushstrokes and delicate splashes of colour, he poetically reinvents the city, transforming it into a vibrant musical comedy stage where monuments come to life and passers-by dance to the lively rhythm of the music. This panorama, a hymn to joy and optimism, will charm all Bordeaux lovers, offering them sparkling, mischievous sketches that reveal the magic of the city.
