Grenades is the creation of Catherine Cavarec Prigent, an artist renowned for the exquisite finesse of her technique. Her original work is a large-scale drawing where colored pencil and gold leaf paint are subtly interwoven. Inspired by an ancient fresco from the Villa of Livia Drusilla near Rome, Grenades also draws influence from Asian art, with its composition reflecting traditional chinoiserie. Straddling the line between East and West, Grenades invites viewers on a journey through a setting filled with elegance and indulgence.
