This famous décor, designed by Louis-Joseph Fuchs for Desfossés in 1862, features lush tropical vegetation and a multitude of exotic birds – peacocks, parrots, and ibises – reflecting the fascination with botanical discoveries during the Second Empire. A true technical feat for its time. The reissue is based on a copy now preserved at the Musée des Arts décoratifs (Paris). Our teams carried out meticulous restoration to offer an unprecedented level of quality.
